Boozy Snow Cones!

·
Wow! It's hot outside! No need to run through the sprinklers though, just cool down and relax with a Boozy Raspberry Lemon Drop Snow Cone. Swing by Fancy That to pick up your supplies - we've got everything you need (except for the alcohol and berries)!
Fancy List:
Paper Cones
1/2 cup Pepper Creek Farms Lemon Drop Cocktail Mix
Grocery List:
Ice
2 cups raspberries
1/4 cup + 1 tbsp sugar
Vodka (optional)

Put the raspberries and sugar in a small pot. Bring to a boil and stir constantly. Once the raspberries are broken down and you have a nice sauce going, pour the berries into a mesh sieve and collect the juice. You can discard the raspberry pulp or save it and use it on some toast.

Pour the juice back into the pot and add 1/2 cup Lemon Drop Cocktail Mix. Bring to a boil. The syrup is done when it coats the back of a spoon. Cool in the refrigerator or freezer. Once cool add as much vodka as you want, we won't judge.

Now you're ready to prepare your snow cone. If you don't have a snow cone maker you can use your food processor or blender for your ice. I used the food processor with the julienne attachment. Scoop the ice into your paper cone and shape into a nice mound. Pour the syrup over the ice and voila! You have a delicious treat to beat the heat!

We also made a Sour Apple snow cone. Just pour our Sour Apple Martini mix into a small pan. Bring to a boil. Cook the mix down until it's about half the volume of what you started with. Let cool, add your vodka and pour over your ice.

If the idea of standing over the stove is giving you heat stroke, have no fear! These mixes are also great as is. Pour them over ice or blended up like a slushie. Just add booze!

Got kids? You know they'll want one of these, so skip the alcohol and you have a frozen treat even the underage can enjoy.
I scream, you scream, we all scream for....boozy snow cones!

Party on!
